Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the US as well as Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is currently an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN, working as an anchor of SportsCenter reports and hosts SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in 2016. Her mother is TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. Since she was nine years old, her ability to speak two languages has allowed her to get a job in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. In this role she was given the chance to work with national producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. The CBS subsidiary located in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become a sports reporter. Then she moved from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on the Spanish stations KNVO TV 48 Univision, and Fox2 News. Later, she was anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her larger responsibilities. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. The show was commissioned as a anchor of the sports program by Despierta America Deportes for their morning show. She also served as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November, 1985. There is a sister. There is an older sibling. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother and she was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in 2006. Her residence was in Canton Ohio with her older sister during the summer and was provided with the opportunity of a job. Antonietta was a senior high school student and had a clear idea of her goals for the future. She visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school was suitable for her. The campus was beautiful and offered the degree she was looking for. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann - her professor - was also the manager at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. His passion for journalism and confidence in her own abilities instilled confidence in her. In turn, she, tried to meet his expectations and never disappoint him.
